Experience

I received my graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I built a strong foundation in both the science and the art of therapy. My education emphasized not only evidence-based practices but also the importance of listening deeply and honoring each person’s story. While I value aspects of my formal training, I have also come to see that traditional models can be approached in renewed ways, creating space for healing that tradition alone does not always reach. I continue to grow through ongoing development and learning opportunities, and I practice cultural humility by remaining open, reflective, and willing to learn from the diverse experiences of those I serve. Most importantly, I recognize that each client carries wisdom and resilience that enrich my work and strengthen my calling to walk alongside others on their healing journey
